I remember five (!!) years ago when you wrestled with the no Refine decision and we Zoomed anyway to mark the occasion.... I'm pretty sure you're the one who coined, "There is no quarantine on Spring," during that convo.
Beauty and art and birds and music... God's faithfulness is all around us in Creation, reminding me constantly of which Kingdom really matters these days. Tuning out noise in other online spaces has made it easier to recalibrate and remember--what's invisible is the most real thing that matters.
Thank you, Jody. I’d forgotten I’d said that about spring, but I suppose a similar thought came to me when I remembered while writing this post, that no executive order can ban my joy or hope or creativity. Whatever happens next, we are free to pray and love and show up for our neighbors however we are able. I’m looking forward to the quiet, to the reorientation, to listening…the invisible is the most real…I love that—thanks, friend. ❤️
You inspire my heart today💗 Thanks for sharing Hugo(he's named for Victor Hugo)-who knew that funny little collage would lead her🤷♀️

“When I am lost in the art, I am not able to obsess about the upside-downess of the world.” Thanks for this reminder, Kris.
